2 Girls & a Dog

Another day spent with the girls. Now many of you may view this horrible spectacle of forcing my little nieces to be my models as abuse, but I must shed a rather different light on the situation. Each time my nieces come over, the first question they ask is when they can take pictures. They of course know that this consists of wearing my clothes, which are always massive on them, but we have become extremely talented in creating the illusion that my clothes actually fit them. They also are allowed the privilege of wearing my jewelry, and get their "hair did". All of this brings me to the conclusion that I am not torturing them at all, but actually entertaining them! Imagine that. Free, willing and beautiful models at my disposal. Strange thoughts indeed. But there is more, not only did they beg me to take their pictures again, but I also was approached by a businesswoman to get some fun shots of children interacting with pets. So I take my Leah, my Nikiah, and my Bonzai and we had a grand old time. Did I mention that coordinating two little girls, a dog and a camera is strangely much more difficult than it sounds. It didn't help that one unnamed niece collapsed suddenly out of the picture-taking-mood. Hooray for mood swings.

Am I subjecting them to vanity? Quite possibly. I don't deny that by the time they are teenagers I will have enough photos of them to coat every wall in my house, but luckily those types of things are for moms to worry about...not aunties.

and now for pouting... ridiculous but cute
