Mary & Justin's wedding this summer was a wedding we thoroughly enjoyed. Their adorable little family of three had such an amazing connection. From the romance of the Haiku Mill and the bride's elegant gown, down to the red lipstick, there was not a detail we weren't smitten with. As you will soon see, the Bride & Groom were certainly the stars of the show.

You may remember Mike & Eli from their engagement session in upcountry Maui. They are one of the funnest couples we've ever been around! JJ & Carly had the most adorable wedding at the Olowalu Plantation House. There is such a sweetness in documenting intimate wedding parties and their cheery details and carefree attitude made it even sweeter. Towards the end of the evening they had their friends and family write a special note on paper lanterns and release them into the air.

First Features of the New Year

Alright, I know we've been M.I.A lately so I'll just apologize up front. Our lives have simply been spiraling rapidly out of control... no biggie! We have a busy year ahead full of many adventures and are trying to prepare for it all as best we can! I promise we have several weddings to share in the very near future, but for now we thought we would share a couple features.

We have the most wonderful Australian bride who will be bringing us out to Fiji to shoot her wedding. Though we've never met, we are already kindrid spirits--- you really can't help but to love her! She has decided to document her journey as she plans this destination celebration. Check out her blog post featuring us on Polka Dot Bride. 

 

This wedding was one of our favorite to date and we LOVE how beautifully Style Unveiled documented the event.

 

Lastly we were featured by the popular web design company Showit. Showit is what we used to build our customized website and we just love all they have to offer. Check out the video at the time 12:40 to hear their thoughts on our website. It's also pretty entertaining listening to them trying to pronounce our name. Come on people, its TUH-MEEZ.

Jason & Autumn Upcountry Wedding

Jason & Autumn are one of THE most adorable couples we have met. We fell in love with them when Autumn shared their story about Jason being her teenage heartthrob and falling in love after their fluke encounter 12 years later. Their lives are full of all sorts of adventure including windsurfing, motocross and ski racing... all while raising their beautiful little daughter. The live in a quaint cottage in upcountry Maui that backs up to Maui's Haiku Farms which made the perfect backdrop for their farm-style wedding. Prepare yourself for the most adorable country wedding.

Paul & Stephanie planned a "Day After" shoot at the breathtaking grounds of the Haiku Mill--- needless to say it was everything we hoped for. There is something exceptionally romantic in capturing an intimate love in the Haiku Mill's Utopia--- an excellent way to begin the rest of one's life.

Paul & Stephanie are one of those wonderfully "real" couples---- the type of couple we hope to be friends with many years after the wedding. Their "Black & White" themed wedding was kept intimate with only their immediate families as witness. The bride--- gorgeous inside and out--- was radiant (as you will soon see). Paul & Stephanie, thank you for letting us celebrate with you! We hope we were able to capture and bottle up your love to the fullest.

Countdown Events at the Haiku Mill

We are so excited to finally share these images! For this jaw-dropping shoot at the Haiku Mill, Tamiz Photography coordinated with Soha of Countdown Events-- Vancouver's premier wedding and event company. As you can see between the adorable Betsey Johnson dress, Elsa Corsi broach, our flawless bride Kori with makeup by Jessica Waite, and all the other immaculate details... we were all ecstatic to be working on such a project. The beautiful floral spreads were custom designed by Bella Bloom and custom stationary all the way from Canada by Wintons. As you can see, Countdown Events specializes in coordinating immaculate events fit for a Queen. Don't forget to check out Creme de la Creme, their luxury annual bridal show.

Morgan & Kimberlee: O'o Farm

My beautiful bride and groom, Kimberlee & Morgan, hosted a lunch for their guests & bridal party at Maui's own O'o Farm upcountry. It was an incredibly unique experience to say the least! The morning beings with an informative tour where you are encouraged to collect your own ingredients, followed by the most delicious natural lunch. Props to brides who put good thought into the events surrounding their wedding.
