Welcome Home Goddess Divine

Today was an extremely exciting day. Started off with a great church service where we watched "Furious Love" (don't watch if you don't want to be convicted). Man that movie was intense, but I needed it. We had an amazing time of worship and all I am hearing in my head all day is :

"Love came down and rescued me,
Love came down and set me free,
I am Yours, I am forever Yours"

ahhhhhh... so true. On with the story. Jonathan and I had decided this year for BOTH of our birthday presents we would upgrade our measly D40 (the "family vacation" camera) that he shoots with as my second shooter to the whopping D300 (the "I'm a Goddess" camera). There is one little catch. I have kicked down my D80 (the "I'm amazing" camera) to Jonathan, and I of course have a gracious enough husband to give me the D300 aka Goddess. We are both quite pleased with our upgrades.

Unfortunately Sara was not here to be subjected to our testings (poor girl is suffering for Jesus in Florida)... we had to use each other. I think he has the better end of the deal, he doesn't give me much to work with. Juuuuuuuuuuust Kidding. Sort of.

City of Hope

We were blessed to see a dear friend of ours several weeks ago. He is been given the opportunity to be the Director of an incredible up and coming ministry "City of Hope". Similar to the Dream Center in Los Angeles, this ministry will be an inner city refuge for prostitutes, addicts, and the rejected and pour out the LOVE of God. All we need is love.
