These two are the sweetest couple ever! So in love, so adorable and so much fun--- romance and laughter are wonderful hand in hand. Their wedding was equally beautiful, which we hope to share in the near future.

A Multi-cultural Wedding by Belle Destination Events: Haiku Mill

This was one of our favorite weddings of all time! This multi-cultural event was a melting pot of beauty, fun, love and laughter. Here is a snippet from Belle Destination Events:

To create the setting they envisioned, we set up plush Turkish rugs, tons of accent pillows, coffee tables, varied vintage decor pieces, side tables, and nick knacks, giving the Mill's lounge ares the feel of an exotic living room. The dining tables themselves were all unique and inviting, accenting different elements of glass, drift wood, overflowing arrangements of flowers and fruit, and candles, candles, candles!  Instead of mounting a temporary trellis, the oh-so talented Bella Bloom attached individual vines and blooms to the existing vines that crawled up the entry way to the Mill.  Instead of bringing in glassware for the accent arrangements, we utilized the weathered and moss-covered ceramic urns from the Mill itself, and filled them with an abundance of flowers, falling over the edges to add on over-grown affect.

We teamed up with Opihi Love Boutique Rentals & Event Design to create a bohemian bridal shoot with holiday inspiration. Melissa of Opihi Love is incredibly talented and offers an unbelievable inventory of unique decor and rentals. If you are planning on getting married on Maui and want a wedding with great personality, she's the gal to call. Of course the stunning couple and other incredible vendors helped a bit as well....

JJ & Carly: An Olowalu Plantation House wedding

JJ & Carly had the most adorable wedding at the Olowalu Plantation House. There is such a sweetness in documenting intimate wedding parties and their cheery details and carefree attitude made it even sweeter. Towards the end of the evening they had their friends and family write a special note on paper lanterns and release them into the air.

Michael & Elizabeth: A Local Maui Engagement Session

We were THRILLED at the opportunity to shoot a local engagement session. A vast majority of our weddings and sessions are from destination couples; we love to be able to serve so many cultures, walks of life and people that have a hunger for travel and adventure. HOWEVER, shooting a couple that is local to Maui and wants their session somewhere other than the beach (I'm not gonna lie, the beach can get a tad redundant), was so refreshing and inspiring. We traveled upcountry Maui which in my opinion is one of the most beautiful places that Maui has to offer! On top of it all they are completely in love! AND on top of THAT the light was amazingly beautiful and incredibly romantic. Have I mentioned we love our job?

Paul & Stephanie: A Bridal Shoot at the Haiku Mill

Paul & Stephanie planned a "Day After" shoot at the breathtaking grounds of the Haiku Mill--- needless to say it was everything we hoped for. There is something exceptionally romantic in capturing an intimate love in the Haiku Mill's Utopia--- an excellent way to begin the rest of one's life.

Countdown Events at the Haiku Mill

We are so excited to finally share these images! For this jaw-dropping shoot at the Haiku Mill, Tamiz Photography coordinated with Soha of Countdown Events-- Vancouver's premier wedding and event company. As you can see between the adorable Betsey Johnson dress, Elsa Corsi broach, our flawless bride Kori with makeup by Jessica Waite, and all the other immaculate details... we were all ecstatic to be working on such a project. The beautiful floral spreads were custom designed by Bella Bloom and custom stationary all the way from Canada by Wintons. As you can see, Countdown Events specializes in coordinating immaculate events fit for a Queen. Don't forget to check out Creme de la Creme, their luxury annual bridal show.

Styled Shoot Featuring True Bliss Florals

We had the immense pleasure of working with True Bliss Florals on this shoot. Between the lovely wedding arch, gorgeous model and killer location... I don't think we could have asked for much more. We thrive off of doing stylized shoots such as these which allow us to be creatively free. We've already begun planning our next one!

Morgan & Kimberlee: O'o Farm

My beautiful bride and groom, Kimberlee & Morgan, hosted a lunch for their guests & bridal party at Maui's own O'o Farm upcountry. It was an incredibly unique experience to say the least! The morning beings with an informative tour where you are encouraged to collect your own ingredients, followed by the most delicious natural lunch. Props to brides who put good thought into the events surrounding their wedding. 

Morgan & Kimberlee

This couple was incredible. They embraced us as if we had been dear friends for years and we feel so fortunate to have been apart of their celebration. They brought their closest family and friends from Canada to celebrate at a beautiful estate in Kula, Maui. And of course their wedding could be nothing less than stunning with the fabulous Lena of Belle Destination Events coordinating it. We hope your enjoy their story as much as we did.
