Zane & Amanda's Ethereal Shoot

This shoot was nothing short of magical. Zane and Amanda were hitched on 11.11.11 and wanted a "day after" shoot to document the first day of the rest of their lives. True Bliss Florals created the lovely flower Haku for our ethereal bride, which was accented with a delicate rose boutonniere. We half expected a fairy to pop out of the wood and float around sprinkling pixi dust.

Zack & Amanda

This sweet couple's love was so touching! Their intimate Maui wedding and tenderness towards their new family brought tears to my eyes... though I can't say that's particularly abnormal, as I find myself teary-eyed at nearly every wedding. But even if I weren't normally wedding-emotional, I'm pretty certain I still would have had a tear or two at this one. The kiss on the nose during the ceremony broke this camel's back.

Todd & Mariah's Haiku Mill Wedding

Mariah & Peter

Jonathan and I took a trip to Lanai to photograph a fellow Maui photographer who was vacationing at the Four Seasons Lodge at Koele. Mariah owns her own photography business, Mariah Milan Photography, and does her own beautiful work. I commend her for being brave enough to be on the other side of the lens.... we are still working on that. Her and her husband have been together 14 years and are still completely in love. Isn't that wonderful?
