Can I just brag a bit?

Horribly cruel, I know, but I have to take a minute to just brag on my camera. I have the most amazing camera in the world that constantly shocks me with it's capabilities. Hellllooooo Nikon D3S. I also have the most sacrificial, incredible parents in the world to thank for that and for supporting my artsy craftsy business FULL HEARTEDLY. Thanks mom and dad :) I just wanted to once again emphasize the AMAZING low light capabilities. Obviously these shots were taken at night with available light only... or maybe not so obviously. It's a very strange thing falling in love with an inanimate object.


And for good measure we threw her into utter darkness...

2010 in Retrospect

Well here comes the traditional year end recap. This completes my first full year in business! Most of the year was spent in Missouri and the last few months I have had the joy of rebuilding the business from scratch with the move to Maui. I feel so blessed to do what I love and am also incredibly blessed to have the support of my family. My parents have been beyond amazing, I can't even express to what extent so I won't even try. My sister has been an amazing model willing to bear the tortures I put her through all in the name of photography. My husband is the best partner I could ask for. Thanks for teaching me how to use my gear so I don't look like a freak. There are lots of exciting things already underway for the year 2011, so I hope you will come along for the ride.
